Dissemination & Outreach
The Communication and Dissemination Plan encompasses many different types of actions ranging from scheduling meetings, dissemination in the research and CH community and society, data management and communication in the media.
An added value from the project will be the design and online implementation of an innovative manual describing criteria, tools and outcomes obtained from the modelling of crystallization phenomena on paint/drawing canvases, useful for the entire community of scientist and conservation as it can be used to predict similar phenomena in canvases from modern period.
Data generated by the project will be stored in a digital database that will be created under the framework of the project and will be made available for the public through the infrastructure ERIHS.pt (Portuguese Platform of the European Research Infrastructure on Heritage Science), one of the infrastructures of the National Roadmap of Strategic Research Infrastructures (coordinated by the project PI) and node of the European infrastructure ERIHS. Troubleshooting and staff problems will be dealt by informal meetings with the PI and Co-PI.
Regarding dissemination of results, the team aims at producing publications in high rank scientific peer-reviewed journals, communications (both oral and poster) in international conferences and organization of free workshops, seminars and webinars for promoting the findings towards the conservation community and the general public.
The project team members assume an open-access strategy that foresees the inclusion of all the information on the University of Evora Digital Repository.
A final international conference will be organized in collaboration with the GCI at Munch Museum (webcast worldwide by live stream) and will count with invited lecturers specialized in modern painting research.
The project will also provide the scientific community with the qualification of human resources, in special young researchers, with the development of 2 master theses and 1 PhD thesis.
