Within the framework of projet PRIM'ART was organized in September 2014 a mi-term Seminar and one year later, the international conference of COLOURS2015: Bridging Science with Art.
The PRIM'ART Seminar was free entrance and it was attended by Portuguese experts, students and general public. The aim was to present the first results of the projet by team members and collaborators (Tiago Salgueiro). The seminar was organized in two days. On the 26 September were the lectures and a guiding visit to the murals at the Espirito Santo; on the morning of the 27, a workshop on technical photography was made by the professional photographer Manuel Ribeiro at the Convent of São Bento de Cástris.

COLOURS 2015 in turn was organized by HERCULES Laboratory as the final conference with the support of the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology, ICOMOS Portugal, UNESCO Portugal, Iperion-CH.pt, ARCHMAT Erasmus Mundus Master and Eugénio de Almeida Foundation.
The scope of COLOURS2015 was to promote a forum between the several disciplines that such as PRIM’ART study colour in its wide perspectives and to bring together specialists and scientists to share the latest technologies, methodologies and interventions on colour materials in cultural heritage.
The conference was attended by 125 participants with 52 oral and 33 posters contributions from 18 different countries (Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Czec Republic, Denmark, France, Great Britain, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Mexico, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Romania, Switzerland and USA). Fifty graduate students from different academic backgrounds and seventy five professionals from academia, public and private institutions and companies, shared their research and expertise. The three days conference were organized in 5 plenary lectures and 12 sessions held in two parallel rooms. Live streaming of the Conference was available at the conference website for a worldwide dissemination.
